Will my video card work for this?

I have a compaq evo d500 ultra thin and it has an intel 82815 graphic controller in it. I want to get a vga to component cable so I can plug my pc into my home theatre component 'in' then component 'out' to my projector. The reason is so I can save buying a 50' vga cable to run beside my 50' component cable. The vga to component cable manufacturer says the video card needs to be able to support this application. Does my video card? Or how can I find out? Thanks.|||Intel 82815 chipset has the outdated integrated Extreme Graphics. Together with its processor and RAM, the Evo d500 is hardly ideal for HTPC setup. Expect choppy videos even at 720p resolution. 1080p is definitely not supported.
