Which computer component does more of the work of video rendering?

I'm wondering if the new generation of Intel processors with their quick-sync technology or the graphics card does most of the work when rendering and editing HD video on a pc? If anyone has info on that I would be very grateful.|||It's the operating system that counts the most when doing video rendering, that's why the movie Studios Disney, Hollywood and Sony don't use Windows for their movie productions They all use Linux because it is faster, stable and secure now you can have the same operating system they use for Free with all the Video, Audio, 3D Animated and photo editing software and everything else you need like DVD Authoring software
