Well the story is... I bought a new EVGA GTX480 video card off of newegg.com and it came this morning. So I opened the box and put the new video card into the motherboard. Although it didnt quite fit inside the case as the case wasnt big enough so I cut the card in half since I probably wont need all of the power and put it in without any problems.
But once I turned my computer on a weird sound came from the computer case and I took the side panel off and the video card was on fire! So I threw some water on it and then it started sparking a lot! So I later found out that it really messed up all of my components in my case including power supply, motherboard, and cpu, and hard drive. So should I send it back and get my money back or can I do anything to fix this?
All help is appreciated!|||Stick it under your pillow when you go to bed and maybe the video card fairy will leave you some money for it.|||this is a blatent lie who cuts their graphics card in half LOL|||I dearly hope you decided to troll when you posted this question...this ranks up there with the old lady that put her dog in the microwave to dry it after bathing it...
If you *are* serious (I shudder to think)...deliberate destruction automatically voids all warranties.
Step away from the computer and never touch another as long as you live. You'll save a whole LOT of money and never have to worry about Bill Engval coming to visit with a magic little yellow diamond with two words on it...
