2 HDDs: 2 500GB SATA

DVD Drive ect...

do i need a good graphics card or video card or what??

Do i actually need a video card or graphics card? or can i just get some cheap ones and upgrade my cpu?

I really dont want to spend too much, and i will ONLY use this pc for rendering!

so any suggestions will be much appreciated! Thanks|||Well, rendering and video encoding depends primarily upon your CPU and RAM (8gb MINIMUM), not your graphics card. Although you do need something at least entry-level for applying effects, integrated graphics just suck. I'd recommend a Radeon HD 5570 or 5670, but you don't need a $150 card for that sort of work.

The biggest improvement in rendering times would come from having a more powerful CPU...this is a task where a Phenom II X6 processor would really pay off. Of course a 2nd-generation Intel Core i7 (or even an i5) would be even better, but that would require a whole new motherboard.

Also if you're doing HD I'd imagine 500gb drives will fill up fast...
